Overview Of Recruitment Agencies

A recruitment agency provides businesses with a short list of pre-interviewed candidates for job vacancies within their business.

In order to achieve a short list of candidates the agency carries out either an interview, psychometric test or even testing their presentation skills.

By doing so they save their client's time and effort by going through many CVs and applications.

The recruitment agency may specialise in one sector such as IT, catering or it may recruit for a wide range of industries. They may also provide temporary or permanent positions.

The recruitment market at the moment is believed to be mature with numerous recruitment agencies and consultants.

This means that there is a lot of competition but due to the benefits of running your own recruitment agency, more and more agencies are becoming apparent and also successful.

Also, more importantly businesses tend to employ a number of recruitment agencies so that they can obtain a variety of people as possible candidates for a specific job.

This is a huge advantage to new recruitment agencies starting up because they will have numerous opportunities to work with various companies.
